I removed the slide plate from the right of the cross slide so I could drill and tap it.

I am tapping two 5mm X .8 blind holes that will attach the reader plate.

I have re-mounted the slide plate and attached the aluminum bracket for the scale reader head.

I have drilled and tapped mounting holes for the scale. I am checking it for parallelism with the cross slide.

The scale has been mounted and the reader head attached to the angle bracket.

The protective cover has been installed and the Y-Axis scale is ready for use.

Table has been retracted, the display zeroed, and then the table has been fully extended. 16.575" of Y travel.
